The 3rd edition of media research 2015 at Kinshasa there at last

In this period of start of new school year, the market research agency, Target SARL is releasing secrets of research on statistic of media 2015 for Kinshasa city. In this 3rd edition, classical television still remains the most followed media by Kinshasa inhabitants with a large audience of 96%. Radio is less followed compared with last year (-10%) yet holds its second position with 33%. It is followed by internet (29%), satellite channels (21%) and print media (6%).

Target is putting at the disposal of both advertisers and advertisement agencies this important decision-making tool. They can therefore develop a good communication strategy towards channels likely to help them reach a greater number of people. These statistics also allow media improving their productions to be more competitive during this 4th quarter.

Target research also reveals both convergence and divergence points between men and women. Preferences between age brackets are not always the same. Following media also depends on the fact that someone is active or none – active. Respondents expressed on preferred moments of media audience. Except for print media that is mostly read at the beginning of the week, other media are mostly followed on the weekend. It is very often in the evening, that the majority of people watch television or are connected to internet. However, some like listening to the radio and reading newspapers in the morning.
