“Given that market researches is the main activity of Target, the major part of our software’s are standards software’s, i.e. software’s conceived for meeting ordinary needs. We have got software’s for data collection and processing, data quality control as well as data management such as Cspro, the Sphinx IQ, Microsoft Excel, Kobo…” Blaise PEZO explaining.
Yet the Agency is also using other software’s of data analysis allowing development of graphics and making statistical analysis, i.e. SPSS, Microsoft Excel, Sphinx IQ, XLSTAT...
“Besides, these standards software’s, we also use some programming languages such as: HTML, XML, JAVA and visual basic in order to develop useful applications for internet data collection”, Target IT Specialist.
The IT Specialist, his assistant and computing consultants followed specific trainings or retraining to have a perfect control of the use of these software’s. Very recently, DR Congo computing team took part in a national research on financial inclusion. And these consultants participated in the project of Target Panel (www.target-sarl.cd/targetpanel).
And we are dealing with plenty of projects.
“For the time being, we are actively working to install applications and conduct pilot researches for the use of tablets in data collection; launching a CAWI survey (type of online survey) for candidates registered in Target panel on www.target-sarl.cd/targetpanel and we are also developing a data application that can be downloaded on Play store to allow both smartphones’ and tablets’ users be aware of available researches published by Target” Blaise PEZO concluding.
