Target will be present at the launching of African Organization of market research

Serge Mumbu, Target General Manager, will represent the agency in mid – February at Johannesburg, South Africa, at the event “Africa Forum 2017” during which AMRA shall be launched, the African Organization of Market research. The idea of creating such organization was initiated in 2015 during ESOMAR congress held at Dublin at the end of September 2015.

Right back from Dublin in 2015, Serge Mumbu explained then:

“There currently exists four national organizations on the continent “at Nigeria, Kenya, in South Africa and very recently at Morocco. The idea would be to capitalize experience of these organizations for creating a pan African organization.”

The project became a reality with AMRA that will be launched during African Forum 2017. AMRA especially aims at establishing the African program for market research, including social research, opinion polling and data analysis. A series of more than 30 presentations of African as well as international speakers are waiting for representatives of this unique event of two days at Johannesburg, on 16 and 17 February 2017. More than 100 representatives of 27 countries and 72 organizations throughout Africa and the entire world are being expected in this event.

For Target, it is all about deeply establishing its pan African platform within the framework of extension of our activities throughout other African countries. This will also be an occasion for me to meet with potential partners in South Africa”, states Serge Mumbu.

Two days sooner in the same city, will be held the second meeting of Organization of Agencies specialized in “Mystery Shopping” (MSPA). Target will conduct some researches “Mystery Shopping’” and shall also participate in this activity. This shall be an excellent opportunity of networking and information on the last Market tendencies.

An informal diner is planned for this evening of February 14th, followed with an half – day of presentations, researches of cases and discussions on February 15th.

MSPA is a professional organization representing the client experience industry. With its emphasis on mystery purchases, MSPA was created in 1998 at the USA. MSPA group Europa has been created in 2000. With more than 450 members throughout the world, this organization dedicates in promotion of the best practices in industry, connecting members and promoting the best business opportunities.
