Setting up of a panel for online researches in DR Congo

Target SARL just launched an online web panel named “Target Panel RDC” of which main objective is to provide marketing officers with information that will allow them grasping the evolution of Congolese consumers’ purchase behaviour, new tendencies as regards proposed products and services, the most interesting innovations, advertisements/messages of the most pushy buyers….

Target Panel RDC aims at constituting a permanent sample of consumers throughout the country and regularly interviewing them on different topics (products of large consumption, telecommunication, drinking, internet…).

Congolese people consume great quantities of goods and services and each one has a specific perception of consumed products; Target Panel RDC does offer the opportunity to Congolese consumers to anonymously give their opinions during online surveys. 

Target SARL thus proposes an innovating and attracting method that allows giving opinions and being rewarded afterwards.   

Target approach is simple and composed of the following stages:

  • Online recruitment of participants that will fulfil the required information;
  • Based on online application, selection of sample persons that will be notified through email/text messages of confirmation of their registration and creation of a Target Panel RDC account.  
  • Sending of email/text messages containing the link that allows the selected sample person in line with research profile (age, sex, residence location…) answering the online questionnaire. 
  • Every answer given with HONESTY shall credit Target Panel RDC account of the participant with marks.
  • Marks obtained will be accrued. Once the participant reaches 20 marks, an amount of money will be sent to his/her mobile money account.
