The Panel for online researches operational very soon

Target SARL is being modernized with acquisition of new tools and modern as well as high-performance proceedings to complete market researches. Thus, this year will see the launching of its online panel for researches. Instead of individual interviews conducted face-to-face at the respondents’ homes, these respondents will be participating into online Target researches through the panel.

At the end of April, about 1000 persons were already registered into the Panel database. Online recruitment was firstly timid and then extended with great intensity all along April 2015 in university sites, cybercafés as well as great places of Kinshasa, Matadi, Mbuji-Mayi, Bukavu, Lubumbashi, Goma as well as Kisangani.

While carrying out their job, recruiters are sensitizing internet users, potential panelist, to take their registration or help them with their tablets or smartphones connected online if they are more available to directly become member of Target panel.

On a general standpoint, it is a very positive experience. People contacted online manifested their enthusiasm for this project even if some of them living in provinces dread that connection failure might act in the future as sand which will be dampening this wonderful panel mechanism.

Target wishes that a great portion of quantitative researches could be conducted on this platform once operational. But most of time customers have got the requirements as regards sampling and data collection method. Considering this fact, the use of panel for market researches will depend on researches’ specifications and customers’ opinion.

One thing is for sure, this panel will offer several advantages such as:

  • Constitution of respondents’ database that will periodically participate into surveys.
  • Possibility of easily comparing data gradually as researches are ongoing.
  • Possibility of monitoring tendencies as regards a subject.

Flexibility for respondents to participate to researches wherever they are located (home, office, taxi, etc…) without use of paper questionnaire with the help of surveyor.

If you are not yet registered, please pay a visit to our website (www.target-sarl.cd/targetpanel) or go to our Facebook page devoted to the Panel (https://www.facebook.com/TargetPANELRDC )
