The second edition of ‘’DRC media audience’’ will be soon available. More detailed, 2018 edition includes new topics such as channels used by Congolese to access media, most preferred languages, various places and person with whom Congolese usually follow media. A part from these novelties, we also included online media and paid TV companies. Congolese express themselves on their preferred channels groups and reasons.

We discussed with interviewees on channels which could be used to reach them like TV, radio, internet, newspaper, and online media.
DRC has 4 linguistic areas; for a company, it is always better to send messages which can speak to targets. To better clarify choices, people were interviewed on their linguistic preferences regarding communication channels. This exercise could also direct communication agencies to ease understanding of their messages.
Places where Congolese follow media are not always the same. These places vary according to people’ needs. Agency should be aware of most common places among people; this could enable better reach target with promotions, tombola, games, etc.
With IT developments, online media grew over the years. Congolese are getting more and more interested by all these new online channels for news. Congolese also gave their point of views on these on the survey.
A part dedicated to pay TV, a part from channels usually listened, interviewees also gave their point of views on grouped channel preferences.
