The highest positive responses have been obtained in the Middle-East region and North Africa (83%). Target which represents WIN/Gallup in DR Congo will be taking charge of this research’s popularization.

The will of fighting for one’s country is lesser in Western Europe (25%).

The recent history of conflicts in different countries of the world is giving an interesting comparison background. Japanese people (11%) and German people (13%) for example are less inclined to fight for their countries while this figure reaches more than an half for United Kingdom (27%) and France (29%).

The Middle East region and North Africa come in the top of countries where people are ready to fight for their countries. Beside 94% of respondents from Morocco and Fiji, the Pakistan people (89%), Vietnam people (89%) and Bangladeshi people (86%) are also recording higher scores of positive intentions to for fight for their countries.

In sub-Saharan African, Kenya comes in the top of countries here inhabitants are willing to fight for their countries (69%).

The Netherlands (15%) and Japan (11%) are the two countries included in this research wherein we can find out a very weak will of fighting for their countries.

This International research on WIN/Gallup is a yearly tradition initiated by and conceived under the leadership of Dr. George Gallup in 1977. It is carried every year since. Last year, it has been conducted by the world organization WIN/Gallup in 64 countries throughout the world.
