TARGET sharing its experience on market research at Université de Kinshasa
Speech in the workshop of FRPC (Organization of DR Congo Local Radios)
With the support of France Expertise Internationale (FEI), the Organization of DR Congo Local Radios organized from 19 to 23 December 2011 at Hotel Invest of Kinshasa a workshop dealing with development of community radios’ directory of DR Congo. The Managing Director of TAREGT, Mr. Serge Mumbu, was invited as speaker for the whole morning session of the second day (Tuesday 20 December 2011) around the topic: “Data collection and processing for a survey”.
The speech focused on three items:
- Baseline of a survey (definition and types of survey, development of questionnaire…)
- Data collection on the field (collection process, differences between survey and taking a census…)
- Computerized processing of data resulting from a survey (processing procedure, simple sorting out and crossed sorting out…)
Mr. Serge Mumbu was accompanied by Data Processing Specialist of Target (Blaise Pezo) in order to practically illustrate data processing in line with FRPC survey questionnaire.
