TARGET sharing its experience on market research at Université de Kinshasa

Makutano associating Target to the French week 2017

The 4th edition of Kinshasa French week took place from 24 to 27 May at the French Institute “Halle de la Gombe”. Several companies participated into this event that welcomed more 5000 visitors. The Congolese business men and entrepreneurs’ network “MAKUTANO” also had a stand in this activity and associated Target in his presentations, an occasion for the Market Research Agency to better be known towards Congolese people.
Before business partners, curious people and potential clients, Hortense MBUMBA, Project Manager within Target presented her company, one of the market research agencies operating in DR Congo that has got varied clients portfolio and coverage area extending towards other african countries such as: Congo Brazzaville, Rwanda, Burundi, Gabon, Cameroun, Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone. She mentioned the fact that Target cooperate with several global market research companies such as IPSOS.
Further, the speaker emphasizes that digital field is holding an important position in the way Target operates. This Agency is the only one in DR Congo to possess an online research panel. Target panel users are disseminated throughout DR Congo. Thus, thanks to the use of information and communication technologies, Target conducts its researches and succeeds to collect data in real time. The use of information and communication technologies in data collection and processing thus allowed Target to save times, which favors the satisfaction of its clients’ needs.
Apart from the Agency presentation, Mrs. MBUMBA also presented extracts of some surveys conducted by Target available on the company website. She presented the research Media audience in DR Congo and its importance towards officers of communication and marketing of several companies operating in DR Congo. Perspectives 2017 have also been presented in order to help the attendance understand Congolese people tendencies during the current year and this in different fields especially those of perception of happiness and economic prosperity. The documentary research on banks, research on preferred personalities by Kinshasa people etc… have also been presented to the public that got answers to their questions asked right after the presentation.
