Hortense Mbumba

Degree in economics sciences, option marketing at Protestant University of Congo since 2004, Hortense MBUMBA started her professional career by professional training for improvement in 2005 within a market research agency based in Kinshasa. Due to her competences, professionalism and dynamism, she will held the position Coordinator Assistant between January 2006 and October 2011. She was tasked with the launching of projects, drafting of reports related to trainings market researches, seeking of new customers and selling of agency publications. She sometimes intervened as supervisor and quality controller in some important researches such as trade census. 

Since October 2011, Hortense MBUMBA holds the position of Project Manager within the market research agency Target SARL. In this capacity, she is in charge of planning and organization of projects, preparation of commercial proposals and negotiation with clients. Further in this same capacity of Project Manager, she is taking care of selection, monitoring and trainings of field teams (surveyors, supervisors, Field managers) and consultants.

Hortense MBUMBA has got a specific experience in management of projects (Institut Panos Paris, IMMAR, Orange DRC, Trust Merchant Bank, Télésat…), in moderation of focus groups and individual interviews (Bralima sarl, Airtel Congo, Brarudi, Tigo RDC, Ipsos France, Ipsos Belgium, Hamilton, 2CV…). Her work lead her in several cities especially: Brazzaville and Pointe Noire (Republic of Congo), Kigali and Gisenyi (Rwanda), Bujumbura and Gitega (Burundi), Libreville and Port Gentil (Gabon).
