DR Congo: Target SARL conducts two first online researches
The market research agency, Target SARL, has just brought an innovation within marketing research sector in Democratic Republic of Congo. It has just conducted the very first researches with online questionnaire via its panel launched since the beginning of 2015.
Recruitment of respondents took two months. Firstly launched online, it has not raised a lot of enthusiasm. Due to one reason: never before, a market research has already been conducted throughout DR Congo. Congolese internet users don’t have the habit of participating in online market researches.
Target SARL surveyors released on the field succeeded in recruiting subscribers to online researches’ Panel within universities, cybercafés, offices as well as crossroads of the DRC main cities (Kinshasa, Matadi, Kisangani, Mbuji-Mayi, Lubumbashi, Goma and Bukavu).
To date, about 450 internet users responded online to surveys related to health and usages of internet. Panel users could therefore express on the one way about their frequency of visiting their doctor, type of institution they frequent, sports they practice and on the other way about devices they use, volume of data they usually purchase, their providers of internet access, their frequencies of connection as well as their main activities. They have also been asked to assess the quality of internet speed and mobile telephony operators that offer more and more internet.
Target SARL shall make the results of research related to health available to public in the beginning of August; and further results related to internet shall be made available to public in mid-August 2015.
