TARGET sharing its experience on market research at Université de Kinshasa
Capacity building of Target Computing Staff
From 21 to 24 August 2012, Computing Service of the Agency Target SPRL organized an in-house training for computing consultants on: “Data processing procedures of quantitative survey and Introduction to how to use the software Sphinx for data processing.”
This training has been conducted by Mr. Blaise PEZO (IT Specialist), aiming at allowing computing consultants to have a better knowledge of data processing of various quantitative surveys; a good understanding of computing tool and a control of graphics’ environment of software. Target Computing Service must be able to meet this ever increasing demand of quantitative surveys in both D. R. Congo and abroad.
Five points have been developed in this training:
- Data processing procedures;
- Introduction to data processing software (Sphinx, EPI Data and CSPro);
- Database Implementation;
- Data entry;
- Export and Data processing (Sphinx, Excel and SPSS).
